SUBSTANCE: method is realised by including into the television camera a light-regulating cell which is based on an electrochromic device, a unit for controlling said cell, a "window" signal generator and "AND" and "OR" elements in a signal processor. Thus in the frame "window" - a predetermined region of ultrahigh (maximum) illumination on the photo target of the CCD matrix, an undistorted level of the charge relief is guaranteed for that area and the effect of maximum illumination on the process of accumulation of charge on the rest of the area of the photo target is prevented.
EFFECT: preventing blooming of a video signal with a predetermined region of high illumination of the photodetector.
