FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to therapy, endocrinology, and can be used for correcting obesity in children. For this purpose correction nutrient composition of food is carried out. Ratio of proteins, fats and carbohydrates in diet is supported depending on obesity degree. For I degree of obesity: protein constitutes 20%, fats 25%, hydrocarbons 55% of day calorie content. For II degree of obesity: protein 15%, fats 30%, carbohydrates 55% of day calorie content. For III and IV degree of obesity: protein 15%, fats 25%, carbohydrates 60% of day calorie content. Day calorie content of food products is determined by formula: 1000+(100×n)-500, where n is child's age, years. After that, depending on obesity degree, amount of proteins, fats and carbohydrates is determined by formulas:
EFFECT: method application ensures increase of obesity correction efficiency depending on obesity degree.
