FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: cutting plate has a head portion and a connecting portion projecting rearward from the head portion along the longitudinal axis of the plate. The head portion has a base surface at its rear end forming a base plane and two main surfaces. The rear surface of the connecting portion is arranged in longitudinal direction at distance from the base surface, and between the rear surface of the connecting portion and the base surface there is a cylindrical connection peripheral surface. The elastic slit has two opposite inner walls converging in the front direction towards the inner end of the slit ending in the plane of the slit inner end. The plane of the slit inner end is parallel to the base plane and is spaced apart by longitudinal distance from it. The elastic slit inner walls form a first acute angle of the slit.
EFFECT: reliable clamping of the cutting plate inside the shank, increased strength and durability of the tool.
