FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to making general mechanical rubber goods from butadiene-nitrile rubber-base elastomer compositions and may be used in various industries. Proposed method comprises plasticising butadiene-nitrile rubber at rolls, adding vulcanisation activator, anti-ageing agent, powder filler, and plasticiser. Curing agent is introduced after mixing. Rubber mix is heated at rolls. Blanks are shaped to make rubber articles by hot forming at electrically heated vulcanising press. After mixing and prior to adding vulcanising agent, polyatomic spirit modifiers are introduced into rubber mix. Finished rubber article is additionally subjected to adsorption-absorption modification by curing finished product in liquid polyethylene oxide.
EFFECT: better mechanical properties.
