SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to method and device for making such food product as rice, wheat, or paste. Method of making stabilised packed food product comprises filling the trough with preset amount of initial food material representing one or several lumps of starch-bearing product with moisture content lower than 30 wt %. Trough thus filled is placed in sterile medium and subjected to treatment by high-temperature steam at 123°C to 150°C container for sterilisation at pressure, sterile water is dispensed to sterile material in trough in preset amount, placing cover on said trough to remove it from sterile medium. Process duration makes 10 minutes.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
