FIELD: animal breeding.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a composition of a fodder product for domestic animals containing a material based on meat, formed from meat or meat by-products and an aqueous phase consisting of acetyl-substituted inhibited starch of cassava of wax ripeness in an amount effective for thickening the above said water phase. Present invention also relates to a gravy for the fodder product for domestic animals containing acetyl-substituted inhibited starch of cassava of wax ripeness in an amount effective for thickening the said composition and resistant to freezing/thawing during more than nearly 5 cycles along with a method of feeding domestic animals relating to dogs or cats. Present invention also relates to a gravy for the fodder product for domestic animals containing oxypropyl-substituted inhibited starch of cassava of wax ripeness with less than 2.5 wt% of hydroxypropylated substitutes in an amount effective for thickening of the above said water phase.
EFFECT: proposed is a feed product composition for domestic animals.
