FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to glass industry and may be used in production of packing, construction and other types of glass. Proposed method comprises grinding cullet, mixing it with binding agent and compacting said mix. Note here that said cullet is first wetted by 40%-water solution of liquid glass. Raw blend components are added to produced mix, mixed and compacted at 7.0-10 MPa. Cullet with particle size of 0.08-0.40 mm is used for compaction, while mix of cullet and blend raw components is wetted to 12-16%.
EFFECT: higher quality of final products, lower costs, power savings.
