FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: pedestal for supporting reusable development workings includes cylindrical wooden-and-concrete blocks installed on each other at the height equal to thickness of the extracted formation, made of wooden posts installed in metal casing and fixed in casing by means of solidifying solution. Pedestal is equipped with additional composite block that includes hollow cylindrical block consisting of two segments connected with a clamp, solid cylindrical block, gasket arranged between rear segment and cylindrical wooden-and-concrete block, and pneumatic cylinder.
EFFECT: improving pedestal operating efficiency owing to creating prestressing at its being installed between side rocks.
