FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be implemented at underground development of mildly sloping layers. The method of timbering of development excavations includes boring of holes in sides of development excavations, arranging of beams into those boreholes and laying of tie beams onto them. Compound beams are installed into boreholes and are connected with yokes, while soft cladding is rammed under the beams into boreholes; at that compressed air is supplied into the cladding till it lifts and causes contact of the beam with walls of the borehole; thus ends of the beams strut off in the boreholes. The tie beam is strutted off between the beams and layer top, and after top rock lowers under the influence of underground pressure and causes contact of lower part of beams with sides of the borehole, the soft cladding is unloaded and taken off the borehole.
EFFECT: upgraded efficiency of maintaining rocks of top due to increased stability and reduced roof falls.
