FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: this can be used for support of underground workings. Support in the form of protection strip is made up of separate units which are placed with their working sides one above other. Each unit is made of two similar components, and their working sides have flat surface. Their opposite sides have undulated surface with recesses and protrusions which are semicircular in cross-section. Recesses of one component are located coaxially with protrusions of other component, thus ensuring engagement with creation of pliable joint. This allows for improving efficiency in operations for erection of support intended for protection of development workings. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 5 dwg
