METHOD FOR EVALUATING SEVERITY OF TISSUE ISCHEMIA OF LOWER EXTREMITIES IN PATIENTS WITH OBLITERATING ARTERIAL SCLEROSIS OF LOWER EXTREMITIES Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC G01N33/48

SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in clinical laboratory examinations for evaluating a severity of tissue ischemia of lower extremities in the patients suffering obliterating arterial sclerosis of lower extremities (OASLE). Patient's blood serum is examined for vascular endothelium growth factor and monocyte chemotactic protein-1; vascular endothelium growth factor is related to monocyte chemotactic protein-1. If the relation is 0.89-0.7, degree 1 obliterating arterial sclerosis of lower extremities is diagnosed. If the coefficient is equal to 0.69-0.6, degree II is diagnosed. If the coefficient is equal to 0.59-0.5, degree III is diagnosed. If the coefficient is less than 0.5, degree IV obliterating arterial sclerosis of lower extremities is diagnosed.

EFFECT: use of the declared method enables higher effectiveness of evaluating a severity of tissue ischemia of lower extremities in the patients with obliterating arterial sclerosis of lower extremities.
