SUBSTANCE: on the 7-10^th preoperative day, immunological analysis of blood samples is conducted to determined total leukocyte count and relative lymphocyte count in peripheral blood. Further parameters of the additional examination are specified in accordance with the complete blood count values. Pyoinflammatory postoperative complications are predicted in the patients with leukopenia by relative lymphocyte count more than 37% and a MUC1 level not exceeding an upper limit in healthy individuals. In the patient with leukocytosis, they are shown if observing a combination of two of the three following values: leucocytosis more than 12×10⁹ cell/ml, absolute T-lymphocyte count less than 1.2×10⁶ cell/ml, the anti-MUCl AAT exceeding the upper limit in the healthy individuals more than twice. In the patients with normal leukocyte count in peripheral blood - in the lactoferrin concentration more than 1.3 mcg/ml and the MUC1 level not exceeding the upper limit in the healthy individuals.

EFFECT: use of the declared method enables higher effectiveness of predicting postoperative pyoinflammatory complications in the patients with a tumoral involvement of lungs.
