FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to diagnostics, namely to method of prediction of developing suppurative complications of pancreatonecrosis. Method for prediction of developing suppurative complications of pancreatonecrosis consists in that in patient with sterile pancreatonecrosis, starting from fifth day of disease, alpha-amylase activity in blood, content of blood total protein, lymphocytes, monocytes, ratio of albumins and globulins in blood serum, severity of patient's state as per following scales SAPS, SOFA, SIRS, presence of parapancreatic infiltrate, gastrointestinal paresis, acute accumulation of fluid in omental bag or retroperitoneal fat and index of pancreatonecrosis infection (IPI) are determined by formula.
EFFECT: method described above enables accurate prediction of developing suppurative complications of pancreatonecrosis at early stages of disease.
