FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: method provides for display of a target fishing object on a monitor screen in the form of multiple geometric figures equipped with receivers and transmitters of a signal from a stimulant. Geometric figures are shaped as target fishing object species. The stimulant is a signal of an echo-sounding device and a projector beam, besides, initially using the echo-sounding device signal, acoustic search of the fishing object is performed, and then visual search, including the projector and illuminating the horizon by the projector beam. The detected fishing object is illuminated with the projector beam for the time corresponding to the period of light adaptation of the fishing object, afterwards the scale of the image of the detected fishing object is increased.
EFFECT: fishing environment considerably close to the actual one is imitated.
