SUBSTANCE: small-size microwave antenna based on metamaterial includes an emitter consisting of metal screen; dielectric substrate located on metal screen; metal band located on dielectric substrate; feeder line for power supply, which is electrically connected through a hole in metal screen and dielectric substrate to metal band; dielectric support located on emitter, as well as metamaterial located on dielectric support. At that, metamaterial is made in the form of layered structure with identical cross dimensions with emitter and dielectric support, which do not exceed the wave length.

EFFECT: reduction of mass and dimensions parameters of microwave antennae at simultaneous reduction of directivity pattern.
