FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil industry and may be used in oil emulsion separation at oil extraction, transfer and treatment sites. Proposed device comprises inlet compartment, settling compartment, oil discharge compartment, and water discharge compartment. Dividing opening is arranged between inlet and settling compartments and composed of angles located over separator cross-section to make zigzags with no through clearance. Settling compartment is furnished with transverse partitions extending from bottom to height of suspended solids height. Bottom is provided with mechanical impurity discharge branch pipe. Partition is arranged between settling compartment and oil discharge compartment to extend from bottom to top. Partition is arranged between oil discharge compartment and water discharge compartment to extend from bottom. Hatches are arranged over top length to collect escaping gas sized to allow maximum collection of escape gas. Hatches are connected with gas collection pipeline. Separator is equipped with gas-fluid and oil-water phase separation pickups, gas-fluid and oil-water phase separation control valves, and branch pies to discharge trapped oil and effluents.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of separation.
