FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and device for electrochemical cutting of thin-wall sections, cut face grinding and edge rounding. Proposed method comprises electrochemical processing of blanks dipped in electrolyte to make anodes by revolving cathode made up of disc arranged in closed chamber partially dipped in electrolyte and provided with bottom cutout for said electrolyte. Note here that 1 mm-thick flat electro conducting disc is used. While electrolyte represents 2%-water solution of NaHCO3 fed into treatment zone and into chamber with disc from three sides, including from bottom to top. Proposed device comprises bath with electrolyte, table for blanks dipped in electrolyte, revolving cathode made up of disc arranged in closed chamber partially dipped in electrolyte and provided with bottom cutout for said electrolyte, and electrolyte collector with pump. Note here that slot if made in said table for feeding electrolyte.
EFFECT: higher quality of articles, notable decrease in labour input.
