FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to coat application and may be used for surface reconditioning and hardening. Proposed method comprises using iron or iron alloy nanopowders as base with nanoparticles size not exceeding 10 nm and, additionally, powders of alloying diamagnetic and/or paramagnetic materials and consists in feeding powder feeler in zone of electrode contact with part surface at temperature below Curie temperature, pressing filler material by electrode to part surface welding is by welding current pulses. Invention covers also powder filler for application of coating on part surface by above described method.
EFFECT: higher quality of reconditioning and hardening.
