FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to welding materials and can be used in production of structures from low-carbon low-alloy steels using submerged arc welding. Filler powder wire consists of a steel shell and a powder charge. Powder-like mixture contains ferrosilicon, ferromanganese, iron powder, as well as composite granules consisting of nanosized refractory titanium carbide particles with average size of at least 50 nm and iron powder with average size of not less than 50 mcm in weight ratio of 1:2 to 1:3, respectively.
EFFECT: filler wire at specified ratio of components provides higher values of impact strength of weld metal and their stability in low temperature conditions.
