FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to welding materials and can be used in production of structures from low-carbon low-alloy steels using submerged arc welding. Filler powder wire consists of a steel shell and a powder charge. Powder-like charge contains ferrosilicon, ferromanganese, iron powder, as well as composite granules consisting of nanosized refractory tungsten carbide particles with average size of not less than 50 nm and nickel powder with average size of not less than 50 mcm in weight ratio of 1:2 to 1:3, respectively.
EFFECT: filler wire at specified ratio of components provides higher values of impact strength of seam metal, as well as high stability of values of impact strength of weld metal in low temperature conditions.
