FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used for reconditioning and hardening of worn-out working surfaces of revolving parts. Ferromagnetic powder is fed from bin with two outlet channels with their ends provided with electromagnet coil secured thereto into zone wherein current feed and current tap electrode contact the part. Coil feed circuit adjusts amount of fed powder subject to welding current strength. Welding is carried out at constant distance between points of contact between part and roller electrodes. Part transverse flexure is compensated by roller rest arranged to maintain constant pressure of said rollers to powder layer.
EFFECT: constant welding current, easier adjustment, permanent pressure to powder, higher quality of welding.
