SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises loading in turns coke layers and green and fired pellets as the mix of carbon-bearing material. Note here that relationship between said green and fired pellets is adjusted so that relationship between specific consumption R of carbon-bearing green pellets (kg/t of products) and specific consumption P of fired pellets (kg/t of products) makes the range of magnitudes from 0.09 to 0.31.

EFFECT: decreased specific consumption of fuel.
