FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: in order to determine acoustic characteristics of a clayey crust in a well, by at least one acoustic sensor they register a pressure response to low-frequency harmonic oscillations of pressure. Based on the received signal, they determine a phase shift of non-attenuating oscillations of pressure, recorded with an acoustic sensor, relative to oscillations of pressure of the oscillations source, and ratio of pressure oscillations amplitude registered with the sensor to the amplitude of the initial pressure signal. The clayey crust thickness is determined, and on the basis of the produced values, piezoconductivity of the clayey crust and fluid mobility are defined.
EFFECT: development of a simple, efficient and accurate method for detection of clayey crust characteristics in a well, making it possible to extract information from a registered signal on geometric and filtration properties of a clayey crust.
