FIELD: radiation safety.
SUBSTANCE: radiation shield contains a wall made of a transparent material. The peripheral edge of the first wall surface fits and seals against the load-bearing surface of the counter-frame by means of a seal. The radiation shield contains a mounting frame and is equipped with bearing devices for a snug fit to the peripheral edge of the second surface of the wall of a transparent material. The carriers comprise a longitudinal carrier structure having a contact surface in contact with the peripheral edge. The radiation shield additionally contains locking devices for fixing the counter-frame and the mounting frame to each other. The carriers comprise resilient returners capable of applying pressure to the longitudinal carrier structure in the direction of the transparent material wall.
