FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, particularly surgery. What is involved is laparoscopic selective proximal vagotomy; a cardioesophageal junction, a lower one-third of oesophagus, a gastric fundus are mobilised, and two short gastric arteries and posterior gastric artery are trabsected. A fundoplication cuff is formed by anchoring the gastric fundus to the oesophagus from a major curvature with 4-5 interrupted sutures at the pitch of 1 cm. From a lesser curvature, anterior and posterior stomach walls are sutured together with covering a stomach wall by a ligature.
EFFECT: method provides more effective fundoplication by laparoscopic technique.
