FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery for treating gastroesophageal reflux disease. Lesser omentum is surgically released, introduced into the omental bursa, a right crus of diaphragm is visualized. Esophagus is surgically released by separating a middle bundle of the right crus of diaphragm and separating the esophagus from the posterior mediastinum and a symmetric fundoplication cuff is formed. Surgical release of a middle bundle of the right crus of diaphragm is carried out at the intersection of the gastro-diaphragmatic ligament, and a cuff is formed by stitching the anterior and posterior wall of stomach medial to the minor curvature of the proximal part at the level of cruses of diaphragm and the right and left cruses of the esophageal hiatus of diaphragm are simultaneously sewn with the same ligature.
EFFECT: method reduces relapse of gastroesophageal reflux disease.
