FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, particularly neurosurgery. After discotomy, a straight-view endoscope end is introduced into an intervertebral space to assess the curettage quality, endplate preservation, hemostasis effectiveness. Then the endoscope is replaced by a 30-degree endoscope to perform a video-assisted endoscopic control of a subligamentous space of a ventral surface of a dural sac in the cranial and caudal directions for the purpose of detecting the disk hernia fragment having migrated under a back longitudinal ligament. The detected disk fragments are removed with using a video-assisted endoscopic microneurosurgical instruments. A disk space is inspected sequentially with using the 0.30- and 70-degree endoscopes.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of the method.
