FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely neurosurgery, and can be used in treating patients with lumbosacral intervertebral disc herniation when performing biportal endoscopic sequestrectomy. For this purpose, a medial facetectomy, an interlaminectomy are performed, a yellow ligament is preserved as a partial lateral flavectomy. After removal of sequestrum and release from compression of neural structures, water supply is stopped under control of endoscope through free port by means of elongated nozzle attached to syringe. An anti-adhesion gel 5 ml is introduced into an inter-arch space.
EFFECT: method enables preventing epidural fibrosis by preserving the yellow ligament, using the anti-adhesion gel, minimizing the surgical trauma, maximally preserving the structure of the posterior support complex.
