FIELD: sports.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sports equipment, namely, to a roller skate (2), in particular a single-row roller skate with several rollers (4, 6, 8, 10). In order to facilitate braking, to provide better dosage of braking force, and, moreover in single-row roller skates, to improve stability when moving, when braking; roller skate according to the invention comprises the first part (12) of the frame which is rigidly connected or connectable with the boot. In front part of the frame at least the foremost roller (4, 6) is mounted with the ability to rotate. The second part (14) of the frame, in which at least two rear rollers (8, 10) are mounted with the ability to rotate, and both parts (12, 14) of the frame are made with the ability to turn relative to each other around the rotary axis (24) which is parallel to the axes of rotation of the rollers (4, 6, 8, 10), and the braking element (34), which by turning both parts (12, 14) of the frame relative to each other is pressed to at least one of the rear rollers (8, 10).
EFFECT: improved braking performance and maintenance of stability during braking.
