FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises locking the blank on machine tool base plate and displacing tool in lengthwise direction by static force developed by static load hydraulic cylinder and by intermittent pulse load developed by hydraulic cylinder provided with ram head and waveguide and supplied by hydraulic pulse generator. Note here that said tool comprises deforming element with starting taper and inverse taper on its outer surface arranged at an angle to its axis and cylindrical tape arranged there between. Elastic stress is applied to cut the blank surface layer by, at least, two cutting elements secured on mandrel and having starting taper, grooves and ledges of equal width arranged at and angle to tool axis. Note here that said grooves are arranged at an angle to tool axis to form positive rake in normal section to groove side surface located on the left of front face at right location of grooves, or on the right of front face at left location of grooves. Note here that cutting elements are shifted relative to each other so that ledges of one element make extension of another element. Note also that mandrel is connected with waveguide to apply intermittent pulse and static load while cutting element is used for finishing at tool passage through machined bore and fitted on hollow shaft that embraces the mandrel to apply thereto solely static load.
