FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed tool comprises cutting elements with starting taper and reverse taper made at tool axis with cylindrical tape arranged there between. Grooves and ledges of equal width are made on cutting elements, their number being even. Note here that said grooves are arranged at an angle to tool axis to form positive rake in normal section to groove side surface located on the left of front face at right location of grooves, or on the right of front face at left location of grooves. Note also that grooves angle is defined by enclosed formula. Cutting elements are fitted on mandrel using thrust bearings arranged nearby face end of the first cutting element and nearby rear end of the last cutting element. Note that cutting elements are interconnected and keyed together so that their ledges are staggered to lap recesses. Note that cams are made on last element rear end to make half-coupling to engage with that made at hollow shaft end, said shaft surrounding the mandrel. Contraction helical spring is arranged between half-couplings. Said hollow shaft does not rotate relative to mandrel and is displaced by pulse force. Note that epilam layer is applied on working surfaces and bores of cutting elements.

EFFECT: finishing combined with gaging.
