SUBSTANCE: elevator installation comprises several cabins in elevator well. Counterweights are coupled with appropriate cabins by pull elements. In compliance with some versions, different load ratios are used for different rope sides. In compliance with some versions, length of pull elements is selected to allow contact between counterweights in well and to prevent contact between cabins. Difference in distances between cabins and counterweights exceeds counterweight buffer travel plus expected cabin dynamic stopway. Proposed version comprises channels 80 extending through, at least, a part of one cabin 22 to allow pull element 50 of another cabin located under cabin 22 to pass there through.
EFFECT: higher reliability.
