FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to elevator systems and may be used in selective control of elevator cabin manual supervision in the case of conditions promoting the bouncing of cables and counterweights. In bounding of elongated vertical element (30, 32, 34), selective control over cabin manual supervision is effected by adjusting the time of cabin stay in preset zone of said bouncing so that it does not exceed predefined magnitude. Elevator system (20) comprises cabin (22), elongated vertical element (30, 32, 34) connected with cabin (22), and manual cabin supervision controller (38).
EFFECT: higher safety.
