FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: valve includes body with cover plate and spindle arranged in it and secured against being turned by means of an embedded element, with a stroke pointer installed on upper end, controlled through a threaded bushing with a flywheel, and gland assembly; at that, cover plate is made as an integral part of cylindrical post having two external symmetrical openings; in upper part of the latter, saw-cuts are made perpendicular, into which an embedded element enclosing the spindle flattened surface by means of a central groove is installed. Outer diameter of embedded element is equal to outer diameter of post and fixed with a shield enclosing the post. Stroke pointer is covered with a transparent cap with marking applied to it.

EFFECT: designing of the valve protected against penetration of atmospheric precipitation into inner cavities.
