FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: water heater for a machine for preparing hot beverages comprises a diffuser (32) having a front wall (33) designed to be placed in contact with the heated liquid, and a second wall (34) placed in front of the first wall (33), heating units (11) having at least one resistor (31) made by the method of screen printing or photochemical method, located on the second wall (34) of the diffuser (32) and a housing bordering together with the first wall (33) of the diffuser (32) the heated volume (11) inside which there is liquid to be heated. The water heater is configured so that the heated volume (11) is located on one and the other side from the heating units (30).
EFFECT: water heater can be used in production of machines for preparing hot beverages, such as coffee makers, and enhances thermal performance.
