FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely neurosurgery, in treating the patients with lumbosacral discal hernias with narrow interarch spaces with manifested spondylarthrosis, osteoarthrosis and inclination. What is used is interlaminectomy with the use of a high-speed drill with treating arches of superjacent and subjacent vertebrae with a mill changed by a mill of a smaller diameter. A yellow ligament is separated from an attachment point to bone structure preserving its attachment to an interspinous ligament on a section 3-4 mm long within a medial edge of the superjacent vertebral arch. Then, the yellow ligament is ligated and drawn, and after the discal hernia is removed, it is placed back in the initial position and fixed to surrounding tissues within a lateral edge within a medial articular process and to the interspinous ligament within the subjacent vertebral arch.

EFFECT: method provides preserving the yellow ligament in microdiscotomy within the narrow interarch space, manifested spondylarthrosis, osteoarthrosis and inclination.
