DEVICE TO MEASURE LOW FREQUENCY NOISE γ PARAMETER Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC G01R29/26

Abstract RU 2475767 C2

FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: device to measure a low frequency noise γ parameter comprises two independent amplification channels, to the output of which a differential amplifier is connected with signal supply to a logarithmic scale, as well as a device of automatic amplification control of a preliminary amplifier between an investigated item and independent amplification channels. At the same time two additional channels of selective amplification are introduced in parallel into the device circuit with a preliminary amplifier at the inlet with a controlled amplification ratio from the outlet of one of additional amplification channels, the outlet signals of which are supplied to a differential amplifier, from the outlet of which the signal is averaged with an output signal of a differential amplifier of two main amplification channels via an averaging circuit, from the outlet of which the signal is supplied to a logarithmic scale that directly reflects the low frequency noise γ parameter. At the same time all four channels operate in an identical frequency band at different central frequencies.

EFFECT: increased validity of measurements with preservation of possibility to directly produce a noise γ parameter value on a device scale.
