SUBSTANCE: method is described to adapt data size for a future Transmission Time Interval (TTI) by means of User Equipment (UE), besides, all flows of Media Access Control of type -d (MAC-d) are grouped into different lists on the basis of a type of grants associated with flows of MAC-d, ability of a MAC-d flow to be multiplexed with another MAC-d flow from the list, and availability of data in a logical channel matched with the MAC-d flow in the current TTI. Then UE selects an E-TFC for the future TTI, using the MAC-d flow with highest power shift in the consolidated list, including grouped MAC-d flows. Thus the data size is adapted using the selected E-TFC. Also a method is disclosed to generate RLC PDU units by means of UE for the future TTI, using a variation in the planned grant for UE and data size adapted for the future TTI.
EFFECT: reduced volume of service data.
