FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and is intended for treatment of macular druses in age-related macular degeneration. Micropulse impact with wavelength 577 nm is used; first impact with laser radiation is performed on avascular zone of macula with the following parameters: power 1.5 W, micropulse duration 50 mcs, interval between pulses 4500 mcs, duration of series of micropulses 10 ms, spot diameter 100 mcm, working cycle 1%, after that, impact on macula beyond avascular zone with laser radiation with the same parameters and with duration of series of micropulses 50 ms is performed, with applicates being applied on each druse and surrounding it retina in each of zones in such a way that they are located at the distance of one applicate diameter from each other.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce size of macular druses or ensure their complete resorption.
