FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway freight car automatic braking systems. Proposed method comprises converting the load at bogie axle by sensitive element into displacement to be converted by transfer mechanism into proportional displacement of braking force regulator. Said proportional displacement of braking force regulator varies proportionally the force developed by braking cylinder. Then, to convert the load, rigid linkage is arranged between sensitive elements links to be changed into state approximating to zero stiffness in braking.
