SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly, to formation of freight trains on sorting plants. Method of railway freight car on downhill tracks yard consists in charging with compressed air and tempering car brake before its independent of locomotive motion. Then, covering the gate output air from brake line, message said car kinetic energy for motion and braking in the zone of expected stop by interaction of shutoff element with actuator is arranged in said zone. After that, the interaction of shutoff element with actuator with its through electromagnetic drive, on which current pulse is supplied from the Executive device after contact with connecting hose, part of which is electroconductive.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of stop and improved operational characteristics.
