FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: system includes thermal reduction furnace (1) for heating and reduction of composite carbon agglomerates supplied to it, furnace (10) for coal gasification by means of coal and oxidiser reaction. Besides, system is equipped with steam boiler (16) utilising the heat of exit gases, for utilisation of heat of gases removed from the coal gasification furnace, with heater (7) arranged in gas ducts (1a and 1b) for exit gases from furnace (1) for thermal reduction and superheating the water vapour generated and removed from steam boiler (16), and with pipeline (23) for superheated water vapour, for supply of water vapour superheated with heater (7), as an oxidiser to coal gasification furnace (10).
EFFECT: invention provides effective heat utilisation and reduction of capital investment for the equipment used during coal gasification process.
