FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed ICE comprises, at least, one pair of opposed working cylinders 5, at least one opposed pistons 6 fitted in said cylinders 5, oil pump, compressor, valve gear cam ring 12, and device to convert reciprocation into rotation and vice versa. The latter comprises shaft 4 with flywheel 3, two closed guide sine surfaces, and, at least, one rod 7 with support rollers 17, 18 to couple two opposed pistons 6. Lengthwise axis of rod 7 is parallel with that of shaft 4 and flywheel 3. Support rollers 17, 18 of rod 7 are fitted on axles perpendicular to rod 7. Two closed sine guide surfaces are made on ledge 20 of flywheel 3. Every said support roller 17, 18 can transfer force to flywheel 3 by rolling on said sine guide surface in working stoke of closest piston 6. Cam ring 12 of valve gear is rigidly engaged with shaft 4. Piston-type oil pump and compressor have piston rods wherein, in plain bearings, fitted are axles of support rollers 17, 18 interacting with closed sine guide surfaces. Valve gear cam ring 12 is fitted in central groove of cylinder block 1. Invention covers also device to convert reciprocation into rotation and vice versa.
EFFECT: simplified design.
