FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: weighted slab is installed on the bottom of the middle part of a water reservoir along a pipeline route. The pipeline is placed along the shore, and an underwater part profile is shaped as complying with the cross profile of the water reservoir. Cables of a triple-drum scraper hoist with friction mechanisms of drum start are fixed to the pipeline. One cable is fixed at the end of the pipeline, and two - in its middle part. With the help of the hoist a shaped section of the floating pipeline by means of its rotation around the fixed end is moved along the water reservoir surface until axial alignment of the ends of the shaped underwater part of the pipeline adjacent to surface sections of the manifold pipeline. They are connected with surface sections with the help of rotary nozzles. The inner cavity of the pipeline is filled with water, providing for rotation of the floating section around nozzles, the middle part of the pipeline is arranged above the weighted slab, fixed on the slab, and water is drained from the inner cavity. In process of repair the underwater section is disconnected from the slab, purged with compressed air, providing for pipeline floating to surface with rotation of the underwater part relative to the nozzles.

EFFECT: simplification of pipeline installation via a water barrier and repair of an underwater section of a pipeline.
