FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: vortex plant for gas separation includes an inlet nozzle for compressed air supply into a working chamber of energy separation, a valve to control a hot flow rate, and a diaphragm with a central hole for discharge of a cooled gas flow. The diaphragm is connected with the nozzle for discharge of the cooled flow. At the outlet of the hot flow from the working chamber of the vortex tube and at the end of the nozzle for discharge of the cooled flow there are volutes installed.
EFFECT: improved thermodynamic efficiency.
