FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a body with inlet and outlet connection pipes, a vortex chamber coaxial with it and a twisting device with tangential input ports arranged coaxially with the vortex chamber. The inlet ports of the twisting device are made in the form of slotted inlets curved along longitudinal axis and tapering towards the outlet. The vortex chamber is communicated at one end with an energy separation chamber made in the form of a Laval nozzle, in which diffuser portion is an open end of a cylindrical section of the energy separation chamber with a separation gap, which second open end is provided with a swirler in the form of plates assembled crosswise. The body ends of a compressed gas drying device are rigidly and detachably connected to a receiving unit and a condensate receiving unit. The receiving unit contains an inlet connection pipe, a vortex chamber and a connection pipe for discharge of cooled gas flow separated from the vortex chamber by a diaphragm.
EFFECT: elimination of sedimentation and flow back to the nozzle box with its further flooding with condensing moisture, reduction of dissipative losses of thermal gradient and increase of condensation efficiency in the vortex device.
