FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method for prediction of pathological acid gastroesophageal reflux in the patients with type I diabetes mellitus by daily glycemia monitoring to determine an average nocturnal glycemia standard deviation, and if the related value is ≥2.0 mmole/l, a high risk of developing pathological acid GER is predicted in the patient.
EFFECT: method is informative enough; it enables detecting the risk group among the patients with type 1 DM by formation of acid pathological GER.
