FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: substance of the invention consists in development of a tight shielded electric motor, distinctive features of which include making stator and rotor shields solid with smoothly varying thickness and shape of non-reinforced multicomponent (or multilayer) composite materials with preset mechanical, anti-corrosion, electromagnet and mechanical properties, at the same time other parts of the stator and rotor are made from the specified materials, which fix the specified shields. The thin-walled shield of the stator is tightly attached to bearing shields of the electric motor, and the thin-walled shield of the rotor is installed along the external surface of the latter.
EFFECT: higher reliability and cost-effectiveness of shielded electric motors in different conditions of their operation.
