FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: device for drying of electric machine windings comprises a system of heating and air supply, and also a system to monitor variation of resistance in an electric machine winding. At the same time, according to the invention, the heating system comprises an air heating chamber, gas burners and a fan installed in them, at the outlet of the heated air chamber there is a grid and a flexible pipe, at the end of which there is a helical attachment, and the system to monitor variation of resistance in an electric machine winding is equipped with a sensor of resistance, temperature, and a device, which, as normative resistance has been achieved in the winding, switches off the system of heating and air supply. The specified helical attachment may be equipped with guides, arranged evenly to the cross section of the nozzle and along the attachment following a helical line, at the end of the attachment there is an air flow reflector into the space between the anchor and the stator.

EFFECT: invention provides for the possibility to dry insulation of electric machine windings without dismantling, using has to heat air, which results in reduction of time for drying of traction electric machines and reduced consumption of electric energy.
