FIELD: electric machine industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric machine industry, in particular to the production and repair of electrical machines, for example, windings of traction electric machines (hereinafter – TEM). Drying of the insulation of windings of TEM armature rotating at a constant or variable speed, located horizontally or vertically in a heat-insulated chamber, is carried out by IR emitters located along the length of active and frontal parts of the armature, while, depending on the selected drying mode, a temperature of heating of armature windings can be adjusted in groups. To be able to dry armatures of different lengths, a position of one of support racks 3 is changed “forward and backward” in the horizontal version of the armature location and a position of IR emitters is changed “up and down” in the vertical version of the armature location.
EFFECT: improvement of the quality of drying of the insulation of windings of TEM armature, reduction in energy consumption and time for the technological process.
